1. Report to Professor Hecat
The first step is to report to Professor Dinah Hecat in your Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom in the astronomy tower and talk to her.
2. Avoid Enemy Attacks by Dodge-Rolling and Casting Incendio
The next step is to test your defensive abilities by successfully avoiding enemy attacks by dodge-rolling ten times and using the spell Incendio on your enemies five times as well.

The best locations to discover enemies are:
- In the south of Lower Hogsfield, which lies on the way to Keenbridge
- In the Forbidden Forest.
