Rangers v St Mirren – Live updates from Premiership clash at Ibrox

When you’re closing in on the league title, every game is a massive one and that’s the case again today for Rangers.

Steven Gerrard’s men could clinch the Premiership this weekend if results go their way, with just four points needed in total to guarantee it.

They take on a St Mirren side who will be confident of causing an upset though, having been the only side to beat Rangers so far this season.

That came in the Betfred Cup back in December and it’s the only time in all competitions – including the Europa League – that Rangers have lost in this campaign.

The Ibrox men are still without skipper James Travernier, who remains injured, while Ryan Jack and Kemar Roofe are also absent.

Leon Balogun is back in the squad but is likely to be on the bench after Nathan Patterson’s impressive performances.

Alfredo Morelos scored the winner on Wednesday night and will hope to get another today, while Jermain Defoe and Cedric Itten will play back up.

Stay tuned throughout the day for all the latest team news, action and reaction from Ibrox.
