New Year’s Day kicks off with clear and warmer weather for the first weekend of 2021. Expect decreased cloud coverage Friday with a high of 43 degrees, according the National Weather Service in Boulder. Winds will be light and variable.
By Friday night, winds will remain calm, and the low will dip into the lower to mid-20s.
Saturday will be a bit warmer with sunny skies. NWS predicts a high near 49 degrees. While Saturday night’s low will hover around 24 degrees, it may feel cooler than that as wind gusts are expected to pick up speed up to 15 mph.
Sunday will see a rise in temperature, but the wind speed will still be the same. Sunny skies stick around with a high near 53 degrees.
