The Department of Public Health and Social Service will resume COVID-19 vaccinations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday for those ages 75 and older at Okkodo High School.
The school’s cafeteria and gymnasium are set up as a temporary vaccination clinic. A government-issued ID is required and participants will be asked to present a list of their current doctor-prescribed medication, the Joint Information Center reported.

Pre-registration is required and is ongoing. Individuals ages 75 years and older should contact their village mayor’s office to pre-register, the Joint Information Center reported. To pre-register, provide the your full name, date of birth and contact number.
Those who registered with their mayors on or before 1 p.m. Dec. 26 should report to Okkodo High on Monday. Those who registered after 1 p.m. can report Tuesday.
Only one escort per individual is allowed.
To get the COVID-19 vaccine, you must meet the following pre-screening eligibility criteria:
- must not be currently infected with COVID-19, or infected within the last 14 days;
- must never have taken other COVID-19 vaccine products; and
- must not have received any other vaccine, such as the flu shot, in the last 14 days.
