Books to Movie Adaptation can be a super-sensitive topic and choosing between a movie and a book has always been controversial and a huge reason to debate. Movies lovers and book lovers have always been on the opposite ends. Authors write their thought and wisdom and whatnot, and with just a few formalities that book is turned into a movie (taking no side here!).

Regardless of what you are: a bookworm or a hopeless movie person, there are still a few books that were adapted into movies and are brilliant. Not every book adaptation is Bridget Jones’s Diary.

Some books to movie adaptations have certainly managed to keep the essence of the book and the idea of the author, alive.

We are, obviously, very grateful to all those movie makers who remained faithful to the author’s original words. Some of the greatest movie adaptions were from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

If you loved these classic reads; we assure you that you will equally love these books to movie adaptation.

This book or movie needs no hype. The book was originally published in 1969 by G. P. Putnam’s Sons. The book was made into a movie in 1972. The movie, just like the book, is considered a classic in the genre of crime fiction. This movie would be one of those movies that I feel were even better than the book. It would not be untrue to say that the director outdid the author.
