Another Jasper County COVID-19 Death Reported | My Iowa Info

Another Jasper County resident has died related to COVID-19. Today (Thursday) the State COVID-19 tracking website raised the County’s death total from 67 to 68. One new case, and 78 additional tests were also added to the County’s totals. Jasper County’s new pandemic long numbers are 45-thousand 243 test, 4-thousand 228 confirmed cases, 3-thousand 549 recoveries, and 68 deaths. The 7-day positivity rate for testing is currently 3.8-percent with 34 new cases in the past week. The 14-day rate is 3.5-percent. Over 4-thousand 200 County residents have completed the vaccination process. The state website says 144 have been given the single dose vaccine. 4-thousand 97 have completed the two-shot vaccination while another 3-thousand 142 have been given the first of two shots.
