RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) — English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a bid to sign Gremio and Brazil U-23 forward Pepe, according to Brazilian press reports on Friday.

Pepe’s agent, Adriano Spadoto, traveled to London this week for talks with Wolves representatives, the Globo Esporte news outlet said.

It added that Roma, Porto, Paris Saint-Germain, Ajax and Bayern Munich have also shown interest in the 23-year-old.

Pepe has made 99 appearances for Gremio and scored 21 goals since making his professional debut in 2017.

He became a first-team regular under manager Renato Gaucho following the departure of Everton Soares to Benfica last month.

Forward Leonardo Bonatini is currently the only other Brazilian in the Wolves squad.
