So, if you decide to open up a ton of crates to get a rare item, it’d probably set you back 250 bucks or so, easily. Until you are smart enough to gather up a few bucks and buy a rare skin from a trusted marketplace like Eldorado, which would be way cheaper.
And the same goes for knives in the game, the fact that they are extremely rare to be dropped in a crate is what makes them so expensive! It all comes down to an item’s rarity, the rarer the item is the more expensive it is going to be.
Why are CSGO Skins so Expensive?
The price of CSGO Skins totally depends on a few different factors. Sometimes it is just based on luck. However, one other very important factor is the rarity of the skin. The CSGO Skins are expensive and this fact is very evident. You see, it is simple supply and demand!
There are a lot of gamers out there, who are ready to pay a hefty amount. This affects the overall price of the skin that we see today. It is pretty simple! If people are ready to thousands of dollars to buy a skin, then the sellers will sell them for thousands of dollars.
