The second narrative follows Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli fighting the Battle of Helm’s Deep against the legions of the traitorous wizard Saruman while Merry and Pippin help to devise a plan to attack the Saruman’s fortress after their subsequent escape from worn-torn Rohan.
