  1. Hi guys,
    After today I am currently on a 100% streak of 347 on Nerdle, with just under 70% of games completed in 3 tries (average 3.3).
    Dordle not so hot to start with but currently have a streak of 110.
    Rod

    1. Congrats, Rod! Both numbers are superb. I also have solved 100% since starting Nerdle, but am behind you with a streak of 334 and my average is 3.40. For anyone who regularly plays Nerdle, they’ll know that the 3.3 average is tremendous. Keep the streak going!

  2. Hit the big 400 streak today… 4×2, 278×3, 110×4 and 8×5 giving an average of 3.305. Well pleased with that!
    Rod

  3. John Duckworth

    Great score, well done Rod!
    Closing in on 400 here too.
    44×2, 266×3, 79×4, 8×5. 1 early loss before I realised that streaks were more important than solving in the fewest number of goes.

    1. John, out of interest how on earth have you managed to get the answer so many times in two attempts? I have two patterns that I stick to which will pinpoint the numbers and symbols for me but only very occasionally do I have enough information from my 1st guess to have a statistically decent chance of getting it right in 2. Rod

  4. John Duckworth

    Rod, I experimented with various patterns for the first 10 or so but one pattern stood out so I’ve stuck with it. The twos come mostly from */ equations rather than +- due to the substantially reduced number of possible answers.
    In short, I think the answer to your question lies in the efficiency of the starting equation.
    Works just as well for me with Binerdle even though there are many more double and triple numbers. I have thirteen 3’s in the statistics grid although the grid is formatted to display only one digit at the 3 level so just shows as 1 (the tens). The real number only shows when I highlight several rows together.

  5. As of today (16/04/2023) my streak is 421 out of 421 played.
    1: 1
    2: 41
    3: 243
    4: 118
    5: 16
    6: 2

    First few attempts I didn’t have a decent strategy locked in, I think that is where the 6s came. Have been using the same opener for well over a year now, seems to work well.

    I once failed at binerdle, on which I’ve solved 322/323 with a current streak of 264.

    Will provide screenshot to the email address πŸ™‚

  6. I have never lost Nerdle and my streak is at 219. Nowhere near the top, however, I’d like to see who has a perfect streak with an average guesses-per-game that is better than mine: 3.187.
    The leader’s (Neil’s) average is almost 3.5 (3.491).

    1. Nice one! As of today (9th June 2023) my streak is 475 and average is 3.263, so you’re a way ahead of me in terms of average.

  7. Matthew Richardson

    My nerdle streak is 388 as of 21 May 2023. 100% success rate. All but 20 were on the 3rd or 4th try. Average 3.44.

  8. Vicki Manning

    Hello. πŸ™‚ Slowly approaching 400… Current streak is 398 (26th May 2023) with average of 3.31

  9. Hit the magic 500 today. Still going strong with an average of 3.29.
    2×4, 3×352, 4×133, 5×11.
    Cheers guys

  10. Well done Rod on getting to the 500… possibly before anyone else?

    I also achieved the 500 mark today:

    1: 1
    2: 49
    3: 292
    4: 140
    5: 16
    6: 2

    Average: 3.254

    Binerdle streak at 343 (7^3 πŸ™‚ ) as of today also.

  11. Maureen Farnand

    I’ve got a streak of 514 as of Aug 2nd, 2023.
    My average score is 3.224
    1x =0
    2x =54
    3x =303
    4x=146
    5X=10
    6x= 1

  12. 600 up today!
    2 x 6, 3 x 416, 4 x 165, 5 x 13.
    Average 3.308 ish.
    Still haven’t cracked the secret to getting a better chance of hitting those 2s though. When the chance does some up I invariably seem to end up with 4s as there are still many options.

  13. Eurgh … yesterday I was rushing to get out of the door, distracted by daughter I got complacent and quickly ran out of attempts, I did not cover all bases early on. Streak over!!!! To say I’m absolutely devastated, disappointed, dismayed and distraught would be an understatement. 596 and out! πŸ™

    1. Feel for you there Josh. I had a perfect streak for 2023 on Wordle (287 days up to Oct 14th) but yesterday I was all out of kilter as I was running the Oxford Half Marathon. Routine of early morning word game in bed with a cup of tea went out of the window as did my streak! Fortunately Needle is not so strict about missed days!

  14. Sorry to hear that Josh. I’ve also lost word streaks through rushing carelessly. Something will get all of us eventually.
