Although the animated TV series aired in October 2019, Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun manga series first surfaced in March 2017 in the Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine published by Akita Shoten.

Synopsis of Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun 

Ever thought that you might be sold by your parents? Surprisingly horrifying but that’s what happens to the protagonist of the series, Iruma Suzuki. Iruma gets sold out to a demon named Sullivan who, in turn, puts the 14-year-old boy into the Babyls School for Demons. 

Follow through an interesting story as Iruma befriends demons namely Alice Asmodeus and Clara Valac. However, he must keep his human identity a secret as it will put him in danger of being eaten. Join Iruma Suzuki in an adventurous and exciting story of survival wherein a turn of events he is expected to be the next Demon King.

From a list of dozens of characters, we’ll be taking a look at the main characters of Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun manga series in this section of the article.

1. Iruma Suzuki

Starting off with the lead of the series, Iruma Suzuki, who unluckily gets taken to the Demon World.

Appearance: Often wearing the Babyls Demon School uniform, Iruma Suzuki has characteristic blue eyes with hair tied up into a ponytail while doing vigorous physical activities. 

Personality: Although Iruma was neglected most of his childhood by his irresponsible parents, he turned out to be a kind-hearted individual with zero likings towards any violent confrontations.

Abilities: Apart from taking archery classes, Iruma has the ability to enchant magic spells like Anti-Knock Over, La Fire, and others. Moreover, his human blood has healing abilities in addition to making plats grow almost instantaneously.

2. Asmodeus Alice

Up next, we have one of the main deuteragonists of the series, Asmodeus Alice, who becomes one of the first characters to become friends with Iruma Suzuki.

Appearance: With fair skin and tall stature, Alice is showcased to have somewhat feminine features. Along with having magenta-colored eyes with long eyelashes, Alice has light-pink hair and pointed ears. 

Personality: Although seen as egoistical, cold, and blunt at the start of the series, Alice turns out to be a loyal companion of Iruma after the latter defeated him in a duel.

Abilities: Considered among the top students of the Babyls Demon School, Alice is undoubtedly intelligent and strong along with having magic abilities including Fire and Winged Flight Magic.   

3. Valac Clara

Valac is another deuteragonist of the manga series initially befriended by Iruma Suzuki. 

Appearance: Aside from her pair of characteristic curled horns, Clara is shown to have long, straight green hair complementing her green eyes with a long red tail. 

Personality: Having an eccentric personality, Clara easily stands out as one of the stranger factions of the Demon school. While she exhibited a childish and immature nature at the start of the series, there was a shift in her personality after becoming friends with Iruma.

Abilities: Along with attacks such as Slipper Kick, Clara is able to perform magic including Summon and Illusion as a combination of her Toybox magic.

4. Ameri Azazel

Up next, we’ve got the student council president of Babyls – Ameri Azazel, better known as Amelie.

Appearance: Apart from having a tall, slim and curvaceous figure, Ameri rocks reddish-orange hair along with distinctive red eyes.

Personality: Although she comes off as a cold and intimidating individual in the beginning of the series, Ameri does have a sweet side to herself as showcased with her love of romantic manga.

Abilities: Apart from being a very capable student displaying high intelligence, Ameri also possesses enhanced strength.
