Victims identified in Sunday’s double homicide near Klondike neighborhood

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified both victims who were fatally shot near the Klondike neighborhood Sunday night.According to an LMPD spokesperson, officers were dispatched to a double shooting in the 7300 block of Six Mile Lane around 9:30 p.m.Once on scene, officers found Georgedon Spiller, 27, and Cherylandai D. Wilson 25, in a car suffering from gunshot wounds. Police say both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.Police have not named any suspects in the shooting. The LMPD Homicide is handling the investigation.Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous Crime Tip Hotline at 502-574-LMPD.
