Traffic was restored after three days on Thursday on Dhar-Dugnu road, a remote area of Bilawar. This has brought relief to people living in remote areas. Traffic on the road connecting the Malhar region is also expected to begin soon. Four days ago, torrential rains in the area and snowfall in the hilly areas had increased the road slippery. In many places, large rocks had fallen, due to which the traffic was stopped.
After the weather is clear, the Public Works Department has installed JCB machines and restored traffic by removing debris falling on the road. People have breathed a sigh of relief from this. On the other hand, traffic connecting the remote Malhar region will also be restored soon. Junior engineer Mohammad Razak said that the weather has been there for two days. If the weather remains clear on Friday, then the work of removing debris will be started by putting a JCB machine on the road.
