Tinder has spiced the lives of many action-deprived young adults for years and now has brought the perfect feature for the same audience. There is no one in this world who isn’t excited by the mysterious factor in knowing that someone special, especially people between the ages of 18-27. If you are also curious about Tinder’s New Blind Date Feature, then you will definitely enjoy using it.
On February 11, Tinder posted a tweet from its official account revealing everything about the Fast Chat feature addition of Blind Dates. For ages, movies and shows have used blind dates for bringing that intriguing factor into their storylines. Now, you can feel the same excitement of meeting that potential boo just by sitting at home. You don’t even have to meet them in person. Simply click on a few options, and that’s it.
All your confusion will be sorted out by the end of this article. You just have to stick with me for a while to know everything about Tinder’s New Blind Date feature in 2022. You have no idea what awaits you on the app.
Tinder’s New Blind Date Is Banning Accounts For No Reason
Fast Chat feature was introduced to pace up the conversation and matching part of the game along with speeding up the dating process. In this, it introduced another great feature named Blind Date. Apparently, in 2022, we are doing Blind Dates by sitting at our homes, and we don’t even have to meet the person if we don’t like them. Nevermind!
Getting back to Tinder’s New Blind Date feature, you will be asked a few easy questions, and you will be paired with a person based on your common answers. From there on both, you and your paired partner will be taken into a timed chatroom, where you will be able to see the answers of the other person. Once the time runs out, you will be given two options. Either you can continue to match the person, or you can leave the Blind Date right there and then.
Now don’t tell me you don’t want to try Tinder’s New Blind Date feature!
In a statement, Tinder revealed, “members who used the Blind Date feature made 40% more matches than those using another Fast Chat feature with profiles visible.” That’s a good enough reason to jump right back to the app and try this feature.
The best part about Tinder’s New Blind date feature is that it lets you chat with the person based on common questions. You won’t know what the other person looks like or anything about them during the chatting part, including their name. Conversing without seeing the profile picture is definitely something to try atleast once.
Now, many users have complained that their account got banned just as they started using Tinder’s New Blind Date feature. Derek Mohoney on Twitter said that he was in the middle of the conversation when Tinder randomly banned his account. Innumerous users have also complained the same and are worried whether they will get their account back or not.
Obviously, Tinder didn’t want to ban the accounts. But, banning the accounts of its users for no apparent reason is also a thing to worry about. Whether it will do something about unbanning the accounts or not can only be clear after it issues an official statement. Until then, your only way out is to check out how to unban yourself on Tinder.
After looking at the complaints of Tinder users, it is better to let the feature settle for a few more days, until Tinder fixes the bug. I will definitely try Tinder’s new blind date feature in a few days. If you have already tried the feature, then comment below and tell us all about it.
