Based on The Witcher book series of the Polish writer, Andrzej Sapkowski, the Netflix TV adaptation follows the fictional action-adventure tale of the legend of Geralt of Rivia (played by Henry Cavill) and princess Ciri (played by Freya Allan) and the duo’s intertwined destiny.

Fans were greeted with a sneak peek into the upcoming season’s list of episode titles in a promotional video posted by the official Twitter account of The Witcher back in July 2021.

In addition to the backstory of Nivellen and Geralt behind ‘A Grain of Truth’ in the opening episode, the follow-up episode of ‘Kaer Morhen’ will likely take us to the events of Geralt’s early life where he got his “Witcher” training as suggested by the Wolf rune in the title logo.

And as per the sigil of a swallow bird appearing alongside the title Episode 3: What is Lost, the story will likely cover and sum up Ciri’s entire life up to the episode with some shocking revelations. Episode 4 titled ‘Redanian Intelligence’ is presumed to introduce the character of Sigismund Dijkstraas, the best spy-master of the Continent.

Furthermore, while the title name for episode 5: Turn Your Back suggests betrayal of some sort, the following episode of ‘Dear Friend’ indicates the possible return of Yennefer amidst the likelihood of Geralt needing a helping hand.

As far as episode 7 is concerned, we’ll be witnessing one of the most mysterious characters, Voleth Meir (played by Ania Marson) that’s been added into the cast solely for the TV series. Although there’s not much information available about her, we do have her description of being a very old white-haired demon who preys on people’s deepest and darkest desires.

Even though the title of the finale episode is kept as top-secret, there’s quite a huge speculation of it being “Toss A Coin to Your Witcher.” Given the popularity of the song and its meaning within the ending events of the series, the title name seems to be a perfect fit.
