Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans Week 6 inactives

The Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans have released their list of inactives 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week 6 contest at Nissan Stadium.

The Titans had a lengthy injury report to start the week, but ended up having just one player listed as questionable coming into this game in defensive lineman DaQuan Jones (foot).

We already know both wide receiver Corey Davis and tight end MyCole Pruitt won’t be suiting up as they remain on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

For the Texans, they had four players listed as questionable in tight end Jordan Akins (ankle/concussion), running back Buddy Howell (hamstring), cornerback Cornell Armstrong (knee) and linebacker Peter Kalambayi (hamstring).

However, Akins, Howell and Kalambayi didn’t travel with the team to Nashville and have already been ruled out, the team announced on Saturday.

With all that said, here’s a look at the list of inactives for both the Titans and Texans ahead of this AFC South showdown.

OL Daniel Munyer

OL Isaiah Wilson

DB Chris Jackson

DL Matt Dickerson

LB Will Compton

Analysis: Jones, who was spotted warming up on the field prior to the game, will be active for this game. Also, outside linebacker Derick Roberson is active for the first time this season. Jackson and Compton are somewhat surprising inactives, and it looks like Kareem Orr and Daren Bates, both of whom were elevated from the practice squad, will get the nod instead.

WR Keke Coutee

CB Cornell Armstrong

RB Buddy Howell

OL Charlie Heck

TE Jordan Akins

LB Peter Kalambayi

Analysis: Coutee was given a “non-injury related” status on Wednesday’s injury report, but was removed on Thursday. Regardless he won’t be suiting up. Akins, Howell and Kalambayi were already ruled out after not traveling with the team.
