How to Trade Pokemon | Redeem Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trade Codes
Once you know the code you need, it’s time to put it to use.
You can trade with your friends or unknown Pokemon players; this is called Link Trade in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. To trade with friends locally, you don’t need the internet. And to trade with a specific friend who isn’t nearby, you can enter their code to connect with them.Â
To know how to trade Pokemon link codes for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, follow the process below.
- Open the Poke Portal and choose Link Trade.
- Click on Begin Searching.
- Click on Yes to search for a trade partner for a Link trade.
- Once a trade partner is found, choose the Pokemon you want to trade and select the ‘Trade it’ option.
- Then you can see the Pokemon you’re getting in return.
- If the other player offers a Pokémon, you can agree by selecting Trade it or refuse by selecting Never Mind.Â
- If you choose to trade, Save before continuing.Â
- If both of you agree, an animation will follow, and your Pokemons will swap.Â
- Complete!
When the trade is completed, you will see the Pokemon’s information in your Pokedex. And that’s how you trade a Pokemon with anyone!
