
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — For the first time in four seasons, the Philadelphia Eagles won’t be in the playoffs. The Birds were eliminated from the postseason Sunday in a 37-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles’ secondary was thrashed by the wide receiver trio of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb. The three combined for over 300 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Lamb also had a rushing touchdown to close out the game.

The Eagles started out hot with a 14-3 lead after the first quarter, including an 81-yard touchdown bomb from rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts to the returning DeSean Jackson. But Dallas outscored the Eagles 34-3 for the rest of the game.
Hurts threw for over 300 yards and a touchdown, but did have two interceptions and lost a fumble.
The Eagles close out their season next Sunday against the Washington Football Team.
