Srinagar. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Mohammad Afzal, a Patwari from Bemina area of ​​Budgam district on charges of taking a bribe of Rs 13,000. After his arrest, the CBI has taken him on a three-day remand by presenting him in court.
According to the spokesperson, Patwari demanded a bribe of Rs 35,000 for the ground transformer. The deal was fixed for 23 thousand rupees. The complainant had already given Rs 10,000. Now Patwari was asking for 13 thousand rupees more. The complainant complained to the CBI. After this, the CBI laid a trap and caught Patwari red handed, demanding and taking bribe. The CBI also searched Patwari’s house. The CBI has also registered an FIR in this case.
