One dead in Lincoln Heights shooting

LINCOLN HEIGHTS, Ohio — A person is dead after a Friday night shooting in Lincoln Heights, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office.

Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Medosh Ave. around 11:15 p.m. for reports of gunshots in the area. Police found no victim or witnesses at that time. Shortly later, an individual arrived by a privately owned vehicle at Good Samaritan Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim, identified by police as 20-year-old Rylaind Hutchins, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police said they determined the shooting did occur on Medosh Avenue where they were originally dispatched. The shooting is still under investigation.
