The Denver Nuggets are waiving wing Gary Clark two weeks after arriving from Orlando in the Aaron Gordon trade, a league source confirmed to The Denver Post.
The move could be preemptive as the Nuggets look to add backcourt depth, potentially on the buyout market.
The Nuggets also waived two-way forward Greg Whittington on Thursday, a league source confirmed, and added rangy guard Shaq Harrison on a two-way deal.
Harrison played 17 games with Utah this past season after spending the last two seasons with Chicago. In his best season with the Bulls, Harrison averaged 6.5 points and three rebounds.
ESPN first reported Thursday’s transactions.
