Nikki Grahame said she couldn’t deal with another lockdown in her final Instagram post to fans before her death.
The TV personality who shot to fame when she appeared in Big Brother in 2006 passed away on Friday, it was confirmed by her representative.
Her mum Sue had previously spoken out about how her daughter’s eating disorder had “spiralled in lockdown”.
The 38-year-old had battled anorexia since she was nine and had recently checked into a private hospital to fight her eating disorder.
Her final Instagram post spoke of how she ‘couldn’t deal’ with another lockdown.
The post – a video compilation of some of her most iconic tantrums cut together to reflect the lockdown mood – was captioned: “Not this again….seriously can’t deal #lockdown#fuckcovid19#fml”
In an interview with The Telegraph , Nikki’s mum Sue said she had first been hospitalised at the age of nine and that lockdown had made it worse.
She said: “We’ve been on this road a long time, 30 years on and off, and I’ve never seen her this bad. I’m frightened that I’ll die and she’ll have no one to support her. I don’t want her to go through any of this alone.”
Fans rushed on to to her Instagram page to pay tribute.
One said: “Rip beautiful girl so sad.”
Another fan wrote: “Tremendously sad RIP.”
