Released in 2004, the psychological thriller is based on the short subject horror film of the same name by James Wan and Leigh Whannell. #1 Hostel (2005)

Starting off with Eli Roth’s 2005 horror flick that generated a wild buzz among gore-loving audiences. The brutal torture scenes in Hostel find the commonality with the Saw film series. Starring the multinational cast of Jay Hernandez, Eyþór Guðjónsson, Derek Richardson, and Barbara Nedeljáková, it is the first installment in the Hostel trilogy.

The story of Hostel centers around three backpackers namely Paxton, Josh, and Oli who in an interesting turn of events head to an exotic hostel in Slovakia. But what awaits them is their worst nightmare full of hellish tortures.

The plot of Would You Rather partakes in similar life-threatening games just as in the Saw films. The story takes on a woman named Iris at a dinner party where she must secure a donor to help her sick brother in one of the most gruesome and deadly series of events.

The Collection serves as a sequel set on the continuation story of the 2009 film, The Collector. The plot follows Arkin who instead of recovering from the past trauma is kidnapped. Forced to team up with mercenaries, the story takes on a series of deadly booby-trapped events in order to track down and rescue an innocent girl, Elena.

The plot of the horror flick follows the story based on Charles S. Belden’s The Wax Works. While on their way to a football game, six friends end up in the uncannily spooky town of Ambrose. What follows is a series of deadly events wherein the group must fight to survive the murderous twins – the Sinclairs.

After learning that they’re being watched, the couple must find a way to escape so as to not become the next victims of the cult movie series.

The story takes on in the setting of Portland, Oregon wherein a seemingly untraceable serial killer live streams the deadly events leading up to his victims’ death on the website that cannot be taken down. The plot follows the events of a cat and mouse chase in which FBI agent Jennifer Marsh is tasked to hunt down the killer.
