Volume one of the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection starts with a school day where you have lots to learn about the WWW and viruses.
1. Check the Mail
After you wake up (reluctantly), get your PET and press options to see chip data. From there, you need to check the mail.
Check your mail from the menu, and you have mail from Dad and NetNews: there has been a virus outbreak.
2. Go to School
Meet Mayl on your way to school.
After a conversation with Dex, the teacher in your classroom will ask you to press R1 to get your NetNavi online.
The teacher will now ask you to finish the viruses via three minigames to learn how to delete viruses. In these game battles, you must select chips as instructed by your teacher and use those chips to finish off your enemy.

3. After School Battle with Dex

4. Get on the Net
After you’ve checked your mail, get your Mega Man online and jump into the internet via your NetNavi. Go to different terminals, collect mystery data, and battle viruses!
Once logged off the internet and returned from NetNavi, you can save easily from the menu!
