Mission Info: Madam Kogawa conjured a number of balloons around the Hogsmeade station and the Quidditch ground, which you need to pop by using your broom to reach them.
Quest Objectives: The complete quest has three steps that you need to complete the assignment:
- Pop balloons over Hogsmeade Station x 5
- Pop balloons around the Quidditch Pitch x 5
- Return to Madam Kogawa

How to Do Madam Kogawa’s Assignment 1?
Now that you know the basic information about Madam Kogawa’s Assignment 1, you need to know how to complete it. Here are all the steps for the balloon assignment in Hogwarts Legacy:
1. Pop balloons over Hogsmeade Station x 5
If you follow the quest marker and fly over the Hogsmeade station, you’ll be able to see balloons floating. Fly through these 5 balloons to pop them.
Tip: Find the balloons by using the spell, Revelio! It’s easier to use at night.

2. Pop balloons around the Quidditch Pitch x 5
When done with the Hogsmeade station, fly over to the Quidditch ground and fly through all 5 balloons to pop them.

3. Return to Madam Kogawa
When you’re done popping all 10 balloons, return to Madam Kogawa. She will then teach you how you can control the spell Glacius.

What Is The Glacius Spell?
Glacius is a freezing spell that will freeze your opponent temporarily when you cast it at them. You can learn it by completing Madam Kogawa’s Assignment 1.
