Lothian teen dies on Christmas after gun discharges inside Charles County house, sheriff’s office says

Edwin Roberto Rivera Juarez, 17, was inside an Indian Head home Friday evening with two teenage relatives before the gun discharged, and he was shot one time in the upper body, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office said. Officers responded to the house on Mattingly Avenue around 6:45 p.m. and he was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
