Freddie Woodman claimed his 12th clean sheet of the campaign in a 2-0 win at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday. Queens Park had the bulk of possession and outshot Swansea 12 to 6 but they were far from clinical with just one shot on target.
Swansea scored just before the half against the run of play. Andre Ayew headed it in from close range after Queens Park failed to clear a cross into the box. Jamal Lowe doubled the lead with a tidy finish when he was sent through on goal by an excellent pass from Matt Grimes.
The win moves Swansea to second in the Championship. Woodman has conceded just 11 goals in his 20 league starts this season.

After breaking a six-match losing streak last week, Plymouth picked up a point in a 2-2 draw at Charlton yesterday. Kelland Watts continues his streak of starting every match for the Pilgrims.
Plymouth got an early goal from Luke Jephcott in the 6th minute. However, Charlton equalized later in the half from a corner. It looked like Watts was fouled by Chuks Aneke as the ball landed to Chris Gunter who put it in.
Jephcott added his 10th goal of the season with a poacher’s finish just a few minutes after Charlton leveled the match. Former Magpie and local lad Marcus Maddison brought Charlton back with a wonderful strike from outside the box in the 67th minute to make it 2-2.
It’s a good away point for Plymouth against a team pushing for promotion back to the Championship. Plymouth are now in 14th and 6 points above the relegation places.
