
Kaleb Johnson made 46 saves throughout regulation and overtime and then stopped three shootout attempts to give the Minnesota Wilderness a 3-2 victory over the Aberdeen Wings in a North American Hockey League game Friday night in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Grant Docter and former Cloquet-Esko-Carlton standout Christian Galatz scored regulation goals for the Wilderness and then Gavin Rasmussen and Galatz tallied during the four-round shootout.
Cullen Ferguson and Cade Neilson netted regulation goals for the Wings, though Spencer Schneider was the lone player to score in the shootout.
The teams face off again at 7:15 p.m. Saturday in Aberdeen.
