A South Florida judge has denied a request from Publix Super Markets to toss out a wrongful death lawsuit that was filed after a Miami Beach deli employee died of Covid-19.
Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Carlos Lopez on Friday denied the Lakeland-based grocer’s request to dismiss the lawsuit, which was filed in late November.
