He may be one of the favourites to win the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! crown, but Jordan North has sparked a fierce backlash.
The Radio One DJ, aged 30, left viewers unhappy with a crude comment he made on the show over the weekend.
Jordan made the remark while helping AJ Pritchard shower on the show.
While helping AJ get water out by pumping his hand, Jordan joked: “I should be using my left hand, that’s my usual pumping hand.”
AJ fired back: “Grow up.”
While some on Twitter supported him, others felt the racy innuendo was too far – with some claiming it clearly left AJ uncomfortable.
During Friday’s show, North triumphed in the Trapped Door challenge and won the maximum number of stars for his I’m A Celebrity campmates.
TV presenter Vernon Kay praised him, saying: “He’s come back with 12 stars but, most importantly of all, he came back a completely different person.”
And soap star Beverley Callard said she thought North’s parents would be proud of him.
AJ’s brother Curtis, meanwhile, has said his brother is a “slow burner” on the show.
It comes as Victoria Derbyshire was covered in fish guts, offal and slime in an I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! trial.
Ant and Dec described the trial, for the female campmates, as one of the most “smelly and disgusting” to have been on the ITV show.
The contestants were chained and locked to a giant bar in a chamber as part of the trial.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues on ITV.
