Popular TikTok dermatologist, Dr. Joyce Park also weighed in and  said that they believed the filter was “pretty realistic.” Joyce also responded to a commenter’s take who claimed it wasn’t accurate enough for ‘black people’ by making another video on how genetics affect aging in another video.

3. She also suggests that everyone get in the practice of wearing sunscreen of at least 30 SPF daily, or avoiding the sun during peak UV hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wearing sunscreen regularly reduces UV exposure and resulting hyperpigmentation. 
4. Using a retinoid product can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and dark spots.
