Ramban A meeting was held on Thursday, headed by DC Nazim Khan, in which the bankers were instructed to participate in the weekly block day. Also reviewed the functioning of banks.
It was informed in the meeting that till September 2020, the deposit amount was 1585 crore and in the advance area 701 crore and the CD ratio of the district has increased by 3.47 percent. DC instructed the banks to double the efforts and take concrete steps for lending in priority sectors. Instructed the bankers to participate in the weekly block day.
He expressed his displeasure over the delay in government sponsored affairs (GSC) and directed the bankers to distribute the GSC without any delay to provide maximum benefits to the youth and farmers of the district from government schemes. DLRC also proposed to open a JK Bank branch for the block headquarters Gundi-Dhadam for the convenience of the far-flung people. Officers of various departments were present on the occasion.
