Hattiesburg, Southern Miss brace for Hurricane Zeta

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WJTV) – U.S. Senators Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) and Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) on Wednesday welcomed the award of more than $25.9 million in U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development funding to improve water and wastewater systems in 10 rural Mississippi communities.

The funding for several communities and rural water associations is provided through the USDA Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant Program. The total $25,980,300 award consists of $23,677,300 in low-interest loans and $2,303,000 in grants.
