GPD, GFD looking for missing child

Guam police and firefighters were looking for a missing 7-year-old girl in Yigo Monday night.

At 6:10 p.m. Monday, police received a report that Avery Mikayla Sandoval, 7, was missing from her home on Evelyn Perez Road, Chalan La Chance in Yigo, according to Guam Police Department spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao.

Avery Sandoval was last seen wearing a pink “Hello Kitty” shirt and skirt and blue Nautica slippers.

Anyone who may have seen the child is asked to call Police Dispatchers at 472-8911/475-8615-7 or the Dededo Precinct at 632-9808.

Guam Fire Department was assisting the effort, according to spokesman Firefighter Kevin Reilly.

Reilly said according to family members, the girl was last seen at 5 p.m. Monday.
