Sin City reported over 19 million visitors in 2020, many of which use their cars to get around. So, finding a good parking spot that’s also free can be a difficult task. Recently, formerly free parking structures have started charging fees due to the pandemic’s impact. Still, not all hope is lost. Scroll down to learn about the top 5 free parking spots on the Las Vegas Strip.
Wynn Las Vegas
Also known as the largest casino resort in Las Vegas, The Wynn is located above the Strip’s north end. Customers get access to some exciting services, like the spa, on-site theater, and cabanas very close to the pool. This hotel provides customers with free self-parking in its garages located right off Las Vegas Boulevard. Alternatively, guests can choose the valet option, which costs around $25 per day.
Treasure Island is one of Las Vegas’s most popular casino and hotel resorts and sits at the center of the Strip. The resort offers a free parking option for hotel guests and other visitors. Yet, what makes it an even more attractive choice is the availability of both self-parking and a valet option. The self-park garage boasts over 630 parking spaces and electronic charging stations and connects to the hotel through a pedestrian bridge. The valet parking, however, has limited availability.
In addition to the excellent parking arrangements, Treasure Island offers many other amenities. These include the fantastic casino lounge, a full spa and salon, 24/7 room service, high-speed internet, and a swimming pool with a poolside bar.
Sahara Las Vegas
Established in 1952, Sahara Las Vegas is a hotel and casino resort located at the northern end of the Strip. It provides over 1,600 rooms, seven dining options that feature Japanese and Mediterranean cuisines, a spa center, and a gym.
Guests at the Sahara Las Vegas get access to two parking garages that are accessible both from Paradise Road and the Strip. Both entrances are equipped with a free valet option, so it’s up to you if you prefer to park your car yourself or not.
The Shops at Crystals
The Shops at Crystals is an upscale shopping mall and main tourist attraction in Sin City. The mall boasts 15 of the most popular brands, including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Fendi, and Tom Ford. In addition to these legendary brands, you can find about 50 other luxury stores.
Regarding parking, the best option is the mall’s valet. It’s completely free, and the garage is located under the complex. Note that car parking overnight isn’t allowed, so you’ll have to move your vehicle before closing.
Fashion Show Mall Las Vegas
The Fashion Show Mall is one of Las Vegas’ largest shopping centers located at the Strip’s north end. Established in 1981, it’s acquired over 240 shops, including department stores like Anthropologie, Guess, and Tiffany & Co.
Visitors get access to free self-parking during the mall’s working hours in several different forms. First, there’s the underground parking deck, which you can access Fashion Show Dive or Spring Mountain Road. There are also two multi-level parking garages that you can reach from Industrial Road or Mel Torme Way.
If you prefer surface parking, however, it’s available off of Industrial Road, Mel Torme Way, and Spring Mountain Road. Lastly, the mall also offers a free valet option during weekends at the valet circle adjacent to Forever 21 on Fashion Show Drive.
Though finding free parking on the Strip has become harder with resorts switching to paid parking recently, there are still some great options. Thanks to our guide, you can easily access any of these places and park your vehicle for free. However, you should always be mindful of the garage’s rules to avoid any unwanted issues.
