If elected, what will be your priority in the Legislature?
Foremost is re-establishing the trust, confidence, and belief that our community should have with its elected body. Community sentiment has waned for the Legislature and it needs to be fixed and strengthened to be truly representative of the people that senators represent.
Current events have validated the need to assess the function and operations of the government of Guam. The functional roles of each agency have to be evaluated along with a need to determine whether it is necessary for or can the government itself continue to provide the different services. While a major factor in this process will be the examination of the collections versus the expenditures of the government, existing circumstances dictate that we should prioritize funding on what government needs to provide as opposed to what it wants to provide to the community.
