FORECAST | Steady rain develops tonight

CLEVELAND — A sharp cold front will march east overnight bringing an area of steady rain through all of northern Ohio overnight. Lows will remain mild out ahead of the front as they remain near 50.

Expect a rainy start to your Monday with lingering steady rain. The rain should become more scattered by afternoon but the front will have moved through so we won’t see much recovery in terms of temps. Highs will likely top out somewhere in the mid 50s.

Another wave of showers will move in Monday night into Tuesday, this time focused on our southern communities with highs on Tuesday still on the cool side as they reach the mid 50s.

This entire system that moves through will surge back north as a warm front Wednesday into Thursday. We’ll see showers from time to time before the sun breaks out once again Thursday and high temps respond into the mid 70s. Friday will feature 70s as well before much cooler air blows back in next weekend with a strong frontal boundary.
