Pittsburgh Police announce sobriety checkpoints and roving DUI patrols for Super Bowl Sunday

OFFICER BILL KEENEY WITH THE KANSAS CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT IS MAKING A SPECIAL DELIVERY TO TWO LITTLE BOY 7-YEAR-OLD A.J. AND 9-YEAR-OLD LUCAS ARE FACING ANOTHER CHRISTMAS WITHOUT THEIR MOM. FELICIA KUNTZ WAS KILLED BY A DRUNK DRIVER 6 YEARS AGO. THE BOYS ARE NOW BEING RAISED BY THEIR GRANDMOTHER. >> IT’S BEEN REALLY HARD, BECAUSE I’M ALL THEY HAVE. AND SO, I LIVE IT EVERY DAY. HER YOUNGEST SON WAS ONE-YEAR-OLD AND HE DOESN’T REMEMBER HIS MOM. HE WAS JUST A BABY. KELLY: MIMI RODRIQUEZ MAKES SURE HER GRANDCHILDREN UNDERSTAND WHAT A WONDERFUL PERSON THEIR MOM WAS. THEY’RE EVEN MAKING CHRISTMAS PRESENTS IN HER MEMORY. BUT NOTHING CAN BRING HER BACK. >> THERE IS AN ANGEL AND THERE IS A KID. MAYBE ME. >> THE BIGGEST THING, HONESTLY, THAT I MISS IS JUST BEING ABLE TO HOLD HER AND HUG HER, AND JUST SEE HER AGAIN AND JUST HEAR HER VOICE. KELLY: HER DAUGHTER’S DEATH WAS PREVENTABLE. >> THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS WHOLE STORY, JUST MAKE A GOOD DECISION. DON’T MAKE THAT DECISION THAT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE OR HORRIBLY RUIN SOMEONE ELSE’S LIFE, YOU HAVE TO LIVE WITH THAT. >> MY BIGGEST THING IS TO JUST PREVENT AND TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES.
