You guessed it! Another warm and dry day is in store today!
Temperatures this morning are scattered in the 20s and 30s. This afternoon highs will reach the upper 50s and 60s. Wind gusts will pick up at times around 15-20 MPH. In combination with the extremely dry air we could have an elevated fire risk today. As always abide by your state’s burning laws.
We have high pressure nearby that continues to inch towards the east coast. This is helping to bring in a southerly flow which is giving us warmer temperatures (and also it is keeping us dry!) A system up to our north will stay up north, but some clouds are expected from it. No rain though!
Clouds will gradually decrease overnight. Low temperatures fall into the 30s with most of the area staying above freezing. Cloud cover increases for Wednesday with temperatures still continuing to climb. Most of the area should have highs hit in the 60s. On Thursday some of the area will even hit in the 70s!
Cold front will cross through to interrupt our dry pattern starting on Friday. May have a few showers still in for Saturday. Models have been going back and forth on that. Temperatures will also fall back down this weekend with the upper 40s and 50s for our highs.
