Diablo 4 Seasonal Characters are only available during the season they’re created. Once a season is finished in Diablo 4, they get moved to the Eternal Realm with the rest of the Wanderers you’ve played.

The Eternal Realm and Seasonal Realm are two different universes where Diablo 4 stores your beloved characters. When Diablo 4: Season of the Malignant began, every pre-season character was transferred to the Eternal Realm. Don’t worry; this only means that your character will now exist in a storyline of their own in Sanctuary’s universe. The Eternal Realm stores every Wanderer created in the base game and will also welcome all Diablo 4seasonal characters once their season has ended.
Players who want to play Season 1 in Diablo 4 need to make a new character in the Seasonal Realm. This universe offers all the new dynamics and storylines introduced in the new season, plus the default gameplay experience.

The items added during Season 1 will transfer back to the player’s permanent Stash once it has finished.
