Champions League star Otavio ‘makes decision’ on future amid Wolves link

In-demand midfielder Otavio is said to have made a decision on his future, having been linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Brazilian has decided to leave Portuguese giants Porto when his contract expires this summer, according to Calciomercato.

That is likely to trigger a scramble for his signature, with Wolves, Leicester City, Roma, AC Milan and Napoli among the clubs linked with Otavio, who was key as Porto knocked Juventus out of the Champions League earlier this week.

Wolves were reportedly interested in Otavio last summer when he was valued at £15million. He will soon be available for nothing, with clubs now free to start talks with the player.

Milan are said to be leading the race for his signature and have reportedly offered Otavio a four-year deal worth £25,000 per week – an offer which Wolves and Leicester would surely be able to eclipse.

Otavio is described as an attacking midfielder who capable of breaking up opponents’ attacks and dictating play.
