PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense struggled mightily — again — in yet another lifeless loss. The Birds are now 3-6-1 on the season following Sunday’s 22-17 loss to the Browns in Cleveland.
It was another brutal game for Wentz, who tossed two interceptions — the first was returned for a Browns’ touchdown — and was sacked in his own end zone for a safety.
Overall, Wentz finished 21/35, for 235 yards and touchdown passes to Richard Rodgers and a late one to Dallas Goedert to go with the turnovers. He was also sacked five times and under duress all game long.
Next up, the Eagles host the 7-3 Seattle Seahawks on Monday, Nov. 30.
