Second on my list of best Mastodon apps is the one I’m using to access Mastodon, which is Mastodon(PWA- Progressive Web App). To use this, you don’t actually need to download an app. You can simply access it from chrome. But if you want to have an app of this progressive web app, then you can install it by clicking on the 3 dots on the top right corner of chrome when you first open it to verify your email and click on the install app option.
I really like to use this as it provides more features than a usual app. You will get different tabs to access things like Home timeline, Federated timeline, Local timeline, Direct messages, Bookmarks, etc.
