While hiding in others’ shadows, Marshadow uses its power to understand their feelings and can even copy their capabilities including movements through its mimicry prowess.
When imitating other Pokémons, Marshadow eventually becomes more powerful by learning their moves. In addition to it, this mythical Pokémon can even learn ultimate fighting techniques such as martial arts from the masters it mimics.
Along with the ability to cause nightmares (as seen in the anime), Marshadow still holds the title of being the only known Pokémon capable of learning the Spectral Thief move and its exclusive Soul-Stealing Star Strike and Z-Move.

3. Marshadow Pokémon | Shape
Marshadow’s shape resembles a humanoid entity with a smoky gray shadow-like form. From the top, the area around its face appears like a headgear as if there is a helmet for its face. And on top of that headgear, you can see two curled horns which appear a lot like its ears.

Now, moving on to Marshadow’s eyes, they look fiery with their orange-reddish shade along with yellow pupils and an oval marking above each eye. You can even notice a small bump on both the wrists of Marshadow’s arm.
Though encountering an angry Marshadow is almost a stuff of legends, it is said that when a raging Marshadow is using its exclusive Z-Move, it becomes Zenith Marshadow. This state causes its headgear, eyes, and even wrist bumps to blaze up in yellow-green flames.
