Barnesville beats Hawley for fourth straight time | INFORUM

HAWLEY, MN — The Battle for Lee’s Paddle again went the way of Barnesville.

The Trojans opened up a big lead on Hawley and never looked back, besting the Nuggets 32-6.

It was a 24-0 lead at halftime for Barnesville, who didn’t give up the lone touchdown to Hawley until late in the third quarter.

Filling in for starting quarterback Adam Tonsfeldt, Noah Krause scored two touchdowns for the Trojans, while Andrew Pederson and Cameron Heng also added scores.

Pederson led the rushing attack with 178 yards on just 10 carries.

The Nuggets only score was off a pass from Bradley Olson to Joey Aakre with :21 left in the third.

It is the fourth time in a row Barnesville has beaten Hawley, dating back to 2018.
