Brief Introduction to Attack on Titan Season 4

The final season of AoT has been divided into 2 parts with the first one already aired and available for its fans across the world. The last season of the critically acclaimed anime series has seen some slight shift in tone with the first part getting aired in the month of December last year instead of the traditional first-half of the year release schedule.
Apart from that, season 4 is produced by the new TV studio – MAPPA, which handled production works in season 3 after replacing the former Wit Studio that worked on the first 59 episodes set across both season 1 and season 2 of Attack on Titan.

You can clearly see changes made to the visuals in a side-by-side comparison of the TV broadcast to the original, in the tweet attached below. Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 1
We’ve tried our best to keep the spoilers to a minimum while discussing the events that take place in the first part of the final season of AoT. The AoT TV Series that began with the lives of three children, Eren, Armin, and Mikasa are now found divided among values in the final season’s premise. There are a lot of shocking revelations in part 1 like with Eren Jaeger transforming into a political figurehead and amassing a cult following of Jaegerists, as a prominent one.
Most of the AoT’s final season spends its runtime in the country of Marley which has a very different culture from the main characters’ home island of Paradis. With a sudden change in pace and location of the series, you almost get the feeling of watching an entirely different anime. This makes it one of the key highlights that depict the differences among the previously aired seasons.

There is no official release date for Season 4 Part 2 of Attack on Titan but according to the announcement made at the end of Part 1 of Season 4, it is expected that new episodes will air in the Winter 2022 anime season.
