Mega auctions are proposed ahead of IPL 2021.
The pomp and show around the 9th team in the next edition of the Indian Premier League has already started among cricket maniacs. The fact that BCCI plans to organize a mega auctions ahead of IPL 2021 gives a solid chance to franchises to reshuffle their squad. As per the plans, a new team would be joining the fancy league from the next edition, and Ahmedabad is deemed in top priority for now.
If a new team marks its entry in the IPL 2021, owners would be eyeing some favourites to make the best use of the opportunity. In the same manner, a team will open new paths and better opportunities for several players. Many a time, a player is not utilised to the best of his potential, and that is where his game starts getting flawed. The new team in IPL 2021 can give the best roles to some of the players and in the same sequence, let’s see those five players.
5 players to be benefitted from 9th IPL team
1. Kane Williamson
Williamson is lauded for his silent work behind the success of the team. His guidance and heroics led the New Zealand team to see the finals of World Cup 2019. However, it has always been felt that in the zone of IPL, he is capable of much more than what he is being asked to do. While plying his trade for SRH this season, his efforts didn’t fetch colours to the team due to his playing position.
He turned out to be a match-winner for SRH on more than one occasion. His efforts were essential in pushing SRH to see the playoffs of yet another IPL season, but he could have produced more with his bat if he came up the order. He produced 317 runs in 11 innings he played at a strike rate of 133.75 in the recent most IPL season.
If he goes to the new team in the next edition, it is highly likely that he can be offered the role of skipper owing to the international experience under his belt. He can walk up the order and can equally guide his side to see new highs easily. His selfless style of presenting himself also can win hearts in no time.
